Due to its high refractory temperature and high specific gravity, white fused alumina WFA aggregate is a kind of refractory commonly used in the refractory kiln and steel-making industry. The water absorption of WFA aggregate reflects the technical indexes of porosity. The porosity of WFA is generally less than 15% and the water absorption is less than 5%.
